Downfall/Sandals with heels 1
From Create Your Own Story
You once had a discussion with Julianne about high heel shoes. You said you couldn't understand why women didn't wear shoes with heels more often since these shoes made their legs look very attractive. Your mother told you about the drawbacks, from deformation of feet to shortening of strings. 'And it isn't as easy to walk around in these shoes as you think, not to mention it is highly uncomfortable.' You heard it, but did you really listen? Most of it probably went in one ear and out of the other ear. Alas, how difficult can it be to wear heels? Millions of women are doing it, right?
Little did you know. It is easiest to sit on the bed to put the shoes on. Everything went smooth at first. You didn't have to care for the size of the open sandals; all you need to do was to close the leather straps around your ankles. You stand up and ta-da: No problem at all. It feels different than your own shoes - of course it does. You take a first step, a bit wobbly, and then a second one. It works. Full of confidence, you head towards the wardrobe that has a mirror on the inside of the door on Kirsten's side, but your foot rolls to the side. Your ankle twists, something snaps, and an unbearable pain shoots through your ankle. You fall down and cry from the pain, so loud that a moment later, Julianne and Debra stand in your room.
Let's just draw a veil over what follows. You are in deep, deep trouble. Not only do you spend the whole vacation in hospital, along with serious scolding you get several lectures about privacy from Julianne and Kirsten. Somehow the story of your injury spread, probably Debra's fine work. Good luck, mate, you'll need it.
