D&D: FHR: Sneak up on the cloaked man and try to steal the map. This can't too be hard.

You go to sneak up to the man when he is alone, thinking that it will be an easy job. You were, however, wrong as he catches you in the act.
You are forced to fight the man of considerable strength. You are very good at fighting though, so this should be easy for you to win.
You go in to attack and he fights back with incredible force, knocking you to the ground immediately.
This is not looking good for you at the moment.
