You amble over to the kitchen. There doesn't appear to be anything special going on in here.
There's a pot full of pasta on the stove and an empty bowl by the pot. Vivian must have been about to eat it when you arrived.
You get yourself a small bowl and take a little of the pasta. Vivian is known to be a good cook. Sure enough, it's delicious. You wash the bowl and your fork and put them back, a few seconds before Vivian arrives in the room with Susan in tow.
"Wondered where you'd gone," Vivian giggles.
