She walks to the sidewalk and hailed a cab. "Where to?" the driver asks. She gives him the address, and he heads off. In less than an hour she arrives at Macy's. She thanks the driver, but she doesn't pay. She doesn't need to. He is a special transportation agent from the society.

She goes inside of the large building and decides, since she's on vacation, to go on a little shopping spree with her allowance money. She starts at the jewelery section of Macy's and stops to admire the craftsmanship of the beautiful gold-chained amulets. Someone approaches her from behind. She doesn't notice him until he speaks. "That one would look lovely on you," he tells her. She recognizes the voice immediately and turns around.

"Rayne!" She exclaims. He smiles at her. Crimson and Rayne have been friends for as far back as Crimson can remember. They're pretty close and work really well together. They've even been put on missions as partners often. Sometimes Crimson's parent would even mention how they and Rayne's parents agreed to have them married, but they have always had a kind of brother/sister relationship.
