You raise an eyebrow to him, and ask, "Seriously? That's the only reason?"
"Sure. I mean, there were a few women that I had an eye for, but by the time I summoned up the courage to ask them, they had already agreed to be someone else's mate."
"Are you... shy?"
He bursts out laughing. "In some ways, yes. But I figured you were my last chance at a mate, so I decided to give it my all. Is it working?"
You shrug your shoulders. "I don't know yet. I'll let you know... tomorrow."
