It would be improper to leave without saying goodbye. You walk to where you see a large group of people who came to say their goodbyes to you. You don't really know any of them and wonder why they care so much about you leaving. You remain composed and let their goodbyes slide off you, replying in a curt but polite manner, you manage to wrestle yourself out of the crowd without appearing rude after a while. Some offered you gifts, you tried turning them down but they insisted.
You receive :
_Some pointless jewelry. Might make some money if you needed it, or a nice gift.
_A finely crafted dagger from the local smith. Seems more like an adornment than a weapon. How useless.
_You are presented with a beautiful silver necklace with a large diamond in it. "Only your angelic appearance could make this diamond sparkle as it should milady" the local jeweler says as he hands it to you.

You walk over to your carriage feeling excited, everyone is making way too big a deal out of you dressing as a woman. Tough you can't pretend it doesn't give you a warm feeling inside, being a woman just might not be as bad as you had tought.
There's 20 guards, 30 servants and 10 maids. Hardly much of an army, but all you'll be getting. No use moping about, there are some fine swordsmen among the guards and most of the servants look like they could handle a weapon if it came down to it. You recognize one of the older maids, her name is Betty. She has been around since you were little and always complains you aren't lady-like enough. You don't particularly like her, but given the circumstances it may be a good idea to seek her advice on how to behave when you meet your new lord.
You greet the captain of the guards as he approaches you, he's a large, burly middle aged man with a large scar across his face going by the name of Duran. He's one of the few warriors in the castle that can keep up with you in a one-on-one battle, He can even teach you a few moves here and there. You respect him alot and are happy to have him along, even if his drinking habits annoy you a bit.
"Ah you've finally arrived lass." he speaks to you without any of the formality people normally treat a member of the royal family with. You tolerate it from him since you have known him for a long time and he means no disrespect by it. "lookie-here, Ye actually look like yer eager to get yer first taste of a real man, I was half expecting a too-stubborn-to-cry face I must admit"
You let him joke about. take a deep breath and collect yourself. "so, Where will we be going then? Who am I to be a woman for?"
