You put your gun back into its holster and start jogging to where your squad car is parked on the side of the road. You need to hurry...between any witnesses who saw what you did and HQ wondering where you are, you know it's only a matter of time before you are discovered. You get to your car and are pleasantly surprised to find Jessica laying on the ground, sobbing silently with eyes clenched shut. You consider the scene for a moment, then reach down and pull the woman up. She starts screaming again, and struggles away from you.
