Announce your presence to Haruka

You decide to announce your presence to Haruka and hope to heck that she doesn't get startled and hit you.
You clear your throat loudly and say, "Uh, excuse me."
Haruka's eyes open and meet yours, looking up at you inquisitively.
"Sorry," you continue hurriedly. "I didn't mean to interrupt your meditation."
For a second, you see a look of doubt etched on her face, but a sense of relief flows through you when a smile plays across her face.
"No, you're fine," she replies as she stands up and straightens out her gi. "I was just finishing up anyway." As she peers at you, she squints slightly. "I swear that I've seen you before. Did you come here once?"
Dammit, you think. You struggle to form a reason for your presence. You know it would be complety pointless to admit that you only signed up with the class to peep at girls training in gis.
"Uh yeah," you pipe up in what you hope is a convincing tone. "I did, but after a bit I found I was unable to make trainings. Too many things happening at once."
"I understand," Haruka replies, nodding. "it does get pretty crazy at times. I remember at first when I stated doing it, I was also sign on to..."
As she talks, you find yourself zoning out. Her beauty and general aura attracts you to her. You only partly tume in as she finishes telling you about her trouble fitting into karate then goes into advice on ways to clear up space for extra-ciricular activities. You can't help but admire how deeply she cares. You remember that even when you used to go to the dojo, she had always been the one who, when she saw someone upset or down, was always doing what she could to cheer that someone up. It's maybe for that reason that you find yourself falling for her more. Someone who is pretty, kind, and caring, but still more then capable of kicking your ass if she needs to? That is already a plus.
You realise that you most likely look like you have zoned out. This is confirmed as you peer over at her then realise she's looking at you with raised eyebrows.
"You weren't listening to a single word I was saying were you?" she asks, grinning.
You actually consider pretending you were listening, but you know she wouldn't believe you.
"No," you say slowly. "My mind was on something else."
Your plan works just want it to. A sorrowful look plays across her face.
"Aw I'm so sorry to hear that. Maybe you'd like to sit down and talk about it?"
"Well, I mean, that would be good but I wouldn't want to keep you here longer then you want to be."
You hope that your voice isn't too hinting turns out not be misplaced as she smiles at you.
"Where would you like to go?"
"Maybe we could try your place?"
She stands there, her eyes locked onto yours as she clearly weighs her decision. She finally says, "Yeah, sure. Let me get my shoes and socks then we'll go, okay?"
With another brief smile, she turns and makes her way across the garden.
"Wait," you call after her. "You're not going to get out of your gi?"
"Not today," she calls back simply without looking back.
As you're standing in the garden, waiting for Haruka to return, you're suddenly filled with an overwhelming sense of doubt. What if I mess up? you find yourself thinking. What if I go too far? Many more thoughts are swimmimg in your head.
