Tanya laughs. "The usual one for you Americans. There's a monetary reward. The FSS will pay 100,000 Euros for information leading to his arrest."
"How much is that in dollars?" you inquire.
"Approximately 120,000 American dollars."
"I wouldn't be averse to money," you say. "But if you should happen to know any attractive, single, middle-aged women..."
You let the sentence hang. Tanya giggles. "My mom, Svetlana, is looking to come over to this country. She'd need to find a nice guy to marry so she could become a legal citizen. She looks just like me, except she's about 50 years old."
"I'll see what I can find," you assure Tanya. She leaves behind a business card with her cell phone.
A couple of weeks later, you do find information on one of your old comrades, and pass it to Tanya. "It's not quite as big a score as bagging Iosif Kulinsky," she smiles, "but it's still a nice haul. I'll bring Svetlana over tomorrow."
One month later, you and Svetlana are husband and wife. You're lying naked in bed with each other. "How should we...celebrate our marriage?" Svetlana purrs.
