Yuichi Arima - 11 Years old. Moved from his home in Tokyo, now resides at his new apartment and headquarters of Arima Neurology and Tech Labs. He is the CEO, Neurologist and Technician. His friend Kana Kuomoto looks after him since he and her have the powers of Atomsk.
Kano Miyazawa - Yuichi's Aunt.
Lain Arima - A cyborg remodeled by Yuichi Arima after she nearly ending her life.
Nano Arima - A cyborg rescued by Yuichi Arima from a scrap pile in Kyoto, now resides in his apartment of once was Shinnonome Laboratories now Arima Neurology and Tech Labs. Originally, before rescued from scrap, she introduced herself as a robot created by Professor Shinnonome and worked as a assistant. Before being activated, Yuichi realizing that she's a cyborg after opening her head and revealing her human brain. Yuichi offers Nano to remove the unnecessary parts (i.e cuckoo clock bird, bun dispenser, clockwork key, and machine gun) and remodel her. She accepts and He begins remodeling her except a few modifications she doesn't approve including the ability to fire ki-blasts and chest enhancement, however she forgives Yuichi by hugging him. She is also Lain's sister.
Leonard Tanizaki - A Japanese American living with his Aunt Yukari Tanizaki. Calls Osaka by her actual name Ayumu and is Ayumu's mentor and despises Tomo as a bad role model.
