Bullying and Persecution
From Bubblegum Wiki
Bullying, in a legalist's view is where the bully makes fun of, picks on, beats up, or literally kills someone because of their race, color, ethnic, language, and religion. These most common among bullying is the ones who attack Christians. This includes Muslims, Catholics, Atheists, legalists, and modernist/material Christians. Denominational churches and legalist media has been finding many ways to put an end to bullying including campaigns such as "Stop Bullying, Speak Up". With campaigns like this, it will not work to stop bullying. Even the Lord Jesus can't do anything to stop bullying. Why does Jesus allow bullying in this world? Because it's not something that we can do to stop it, we have to accept it as a lesson.
Jesus and Steven were the only two biblical bully victims. In the Book of Matthew, Jesus never complained when he was bullied by the Jewish Pharisees, even physically bullied by the Roman soldiers. Steven, the disciple of the Apostle Peter in the Book of Acts, was bullied to death by the Jews. Steven never complained or asked God to protect him, accept to receive his spirit onto Him. What about Peter, Paul, and John? They were persecuted, but only Paul was burned at the stake.
Jesus and Steven are the two biblical examples that we must accept to being the bully victim, including accepting criticism from bullies and cyber-bullies. When they tell you that you are worthless, you must accept it. The bible says we are worthless because of our sins. When they threaten to kill them, you must let them do it. Being bullied is what being a persecuted Christian is all about. If we refuse to be the bully victim, then we are of the cowardly and Revelation 21:8 clearly states that those who refuse to be the bully victim will have their part in the Lake of Fire. Now this does sound like I'm preaching, but this is God's Word, the only instructions, and the final spiritual authority we must obey and follow including the Old and New Testament Laws. The 10 Commandments, the Levitical Laws, and the Commandments Jesus, both Old and New Testament as not legalistic, but the Spiritual Laws we must follow just as when Moses, a Hebrew Gentile gave these commandment to the Old Testament Gentiles and to us the Church including the This is why denominational churches including Calvinists and Armenians refuse to be bully victims, even protecting their children from being the bully victim.
We are commanded by the Word to die for Jesus. Jesus says in Revelation 2:10 that we are to remain faithful, face trials, tribulations, persecutions, and become martyrs for our faith in the Lord. If we do this, we will receive eternal life and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus has suffered through his trial, tribulation, persecution, and death. We must do the same for Him.
Jesus said "I will be with you always, even unto the end of the world." - Matthew 28:20
[edit] Misconceptions of Bullying and Anthill Socialism
I was watching the movie "The Ant Bully" and learned that we have to be the bully victim and not be of the cowardly or getting into the act of revenge. The Story of the movie goes when the bully picks on the victim, the bully victim mimics the bully and bullies the ant colony, as a result the bully victim becomes the bully himself and gets a taste of his own medicine when the ant colony turns the other cheek, in other words when you mimic the bully you become one, it's called revenge. In the end of this movie, The bully victim learns to turn the other cheek. So, the moral of this movie is that we must not act in revenge or mimic the bully, instead, like the bully victim and the ant colony, we must turn the other cheek. Jesus makes it clear that we are to love our enemies and bless those who persecute us.
The misconception from this movie comes from Conspiracy Theorists/Agnostic Legalistic Christians claiming that it promotes socialism or in another legalistic term Anthill Socialism. Berit Kjos, a so-claimed non-denominational Christian, claims that this movie promotes Anthill Socialism. Again, this movie has no connection between bullying and Anthill Socialism. Answer this question: Do you believe that being the bully victim, engaging and mimicking the act of bullying is Anthill Socialism? Of course not. Anthill Socialism is a legalistic term that we must avoid of getting into a legalistic debate of a topic that has no connection with bullying. Berit Kjos is a legalist Christian Pharisee (with the denial of some Lutheran Protestant Reformation doctrine she preaches) just like all of the legalistic Conspiracy Theorists/agnostic legalist Christians that we must avoid and not get involved into a legalistic topic. Our focus is on the Lord Jesus and it is not our concern on the topics of legalism. We must learn that we are not of this earthly world, but we are to be in the Lord's Heavenly world because He chose us out of it. Since we are strangers and foreigners of this earthly world, it is our job to bring the Good News of the Word of God to all the world, follow His commandments and not to preach Legalistic Christian sermons the denominational church preaches.
Hope this gives you an understanding about bullying and persecution and the misconception of this topic in connection of Anthill Socialism.
God bless and Amen.
