Guardians of the Gate

Guardians of the Gate are the standard defenders of Heaven. Their power is great when next to or nearby the gates of Heaven, but their power decreases as they move farther from the gates. This makes them ideal for defending Heaven's gates, but a poor choice for direct intervention to any situation not on Heaven. For this reason, the Warrior Angels were created, allowing Guardians of the Gate to fight regardless of distance from Heaven.
