Other than these differences Dracounus Elves are very similar to the Idnele. They are excellent crafters and are masters in the creation and manipulation of materials, including the classic indestructible Elven metal. They have an affinity for the natural world and much of their artistry is indicative of this. They are generally the same height as the average human, though usually more slender in build, and lighter in coloration. Dracounus Elves also tend to have a broader range in coloration than their cousins in the Alvarunus. While some theorize that close association with the colorful High Dragons has affected this difference, the truth is as yet unknown. | Other than these differences Dracounus Elves are very similar to the Idnele. Dracounus Elves
The Elves in the Dracounus are fewer in number and have become in general less powerful than the Alvarunus Elves. They are unable to travel back and forth from the Third Realm and live among the other races of the Dracounus in the Second Realm. However, they are still among the more magically/telepathically powerful races of the Dracounus, and like High Dragons, have become spiritwelders. Though there are no complete records, it is believed that the Dracounus Elves are probably descendents of Idnele Alvarunus Elves (created by K. Anderson) that migrated across the Gap during an opening far in the distant past.
