Walk along the beach

The rising sun becomes hot quickly as you walk. You are probably very far south of the Empire, possibly Estalia or Tilea. By mid-morning, you know this area is not uninhabited: you see ships in the distance and human footsteps on the sand. The beach narrows considerably as the shore becomes steeper, but you find a small path that leads away from the ocean.

You can either continue along the beach or take the path.
