DC's most famous group of superheroes, appearing in various forms (with equally varying rosters) throughout the ages to fight threats to Earth, or to fight for dickery, depending on who's in charge. Notable members of the Justice League include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (the so called "Big 3") Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, the Flash and Aquaman.

After the events of Countdown to Infinite Crisis, the League has broken up. A new series is starting up in the summer.

Bruce Timm's version of the Justice League. Ph33r their l33tness and ability to cause mass dickery

The Justice League first made it to TV in the hideously embarassing Superfriends cartoon.

Nearly 30 years later, Bruce Timm tried again with two connected series, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, themselves semi-sequels to his popular Superman and Batman cartoons. Both shows were popular with fans and unlike Superfriends, did not suck. Unfortunately, the declining popularity of the traditional superhero (which is either a sign of the times, the fault of manga and anime, or a backlash against dickery, depending on who you talk to) in America, particuarly amoung the 9-14 demographic the DCAU targeted, has led to its unfortunate cancellation.

No one ever said the viewing public had good taste.
