I like the idea of Wealth, Industry, and Wellness. I'm not so sure about the workings of them. I'm thinking we should do each one seperately so that we can concentrate on each individual item and "perfect" it. For wealth I'm not sure that points + popularity is a good determining factor. I think wealth would be more of a function of industry and wellness. Course now that I've said that makes me think the 3 should be all in one.

I'm thinking Wealth = Industry * Wellness. If you have happy people they work more, mean people suck. And if you have more industry it produces more wealth.

As for Industry I think this would be a matter of population allocation. The zones of industry I see are Argiculture, Factory, Research. The more Argiculture the more food production and therefore a faster growing population and a larger maximum population. I also see this food production replacing the current population growth scheme. Factory is the ammount of production that would be availible to the city. And research would be the ammount of study to improvements.

After typing this I realize that I just described the Civilization allotment. So I think I'll just let that stand since I like Civ and think it has a good system as far as point distribution. Obviously production items would be different for our causes as would research.

As for Wellness this is probably linked with Happiness from Civ and would be a matter of how many people are working and under what "conditions" I'm sure we could create harsh, standard and lax conditions each changing the ammount of Industry, while at the same time changing Wellness. Obviously this could also be affected by Research.

As far as who counts (i.e. Young Adult, Middle-Age, etc) this too could also effect Wellness. I'm thinking that if you put all the YA in the fields Industry goes up but Wellness goes down. Likewise I'm also thinking that if you do that Research would go down as no one would be in school learning. So I think that an Education function would also need to be implemented.

So these are my thoughts let me know if you agree on some or disagree on most or whatever.
