I was born in Eugene in '53.. A lot has changed. Odd pcoitils has destroyed much of the local industrial base. Coffee houses can only employ so many people. Someday perhaps common sense will find it's way back to Eugene. In the meantime, no-growth pcoitils is showing it's ugly side. The only growth industry is public sector.. When you kill the goose that generates the golden eggs, yiou find economic ruin. Marxists find this delightful. American's should wake up.
