-- The School of Languages, Cultures and World Affairs (LCWA) at the College of Charleston invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professorship in International Studies to begin Fall 2009. We seek a candidate who will serve our proposed International Studies major through interdisciplinary teaching and appropriate research. The successful candidate should be able to teach an International Studies introductory course (course description at http://www.cofc.edu/~friedman/internat_stud/intl100.html) as well as the major�s Capstone course. Specialists in Latin American and Caribbean Studies or Asian Studies are preferred. Candidates with a Ph.D. in International Studies and related disciplines are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. before August 2009 is required.
