Wren stared down at the bowl in front of her. As far as she was concerned, food no longer of an interest to her, despite the gnawing hunger in her stomach. His wretched baby was probably already there, starting to grow. Gabriel stood to the side, watchful eyes making her feel calm as she twisted her fingers in her lap. They'd shared light conversation before, but as soon as she'd brought the prospect of escaping, Gabriel had gone silent.
"He want's me to have his baby you know," She says.
To this Gabriel's eyes widened ever so slightly before storming out of the room.
Wren had no tears left to shed, so she sat there, staring at her bowl.
