Panicked by the sound and light produced by the handcuffs, you look around for a way to disable that part of them. Seeing a large rock, you rush over to it and try to smash the handcuffs against it, It's an awkward position, and it's hard to get any decent leverage, but you plug away at it steadily. Before you can manage to break anything more than the light, however, you hear a rustling in the undergrowth. Someone is coming!
