You jump down through an air gate. The psycho walks to the ledge and surveys the area but you remain crouched close enough to the walls for him to not see you. Eventually, he leaves the room. You come out from your hiding place.
You notice a window you could go through. You're on the bottom floor, so you don't have to worry about falling.
Or you could go back where you came, the psycho is moving in the opposite direction.
