"7, 8, 9, 10."
She finishes the count and walks out of the room; you stand there waiting with your little sister looking out you amazed, and after a few moments your mom walks back into the room.
"Okay Steven have it your way, I guess you know best." She smiles and ushers you and your sister out of the house then she turns to lock the door. "Okay I'm going to take your sister trick-o-treating, after which I'm going to go and see a movie, as we don't know when we will return, until then the house stays locked, and you get to do what you like."
"But mom," you whine "I'm dressed like a girl."
"Well you should have thought of that before defying me."
You watch as she grabs your sister by the hand and walks away.
