Sit down in the chair

From Create Your Own Story

You comply and sit in the chair. Anthony approaches you and says, “I’ve tried to be a friend to everybody. I’ve never talked bad about somebody to their face, I’ve always showed them my gratitude, but I suppose that it’s inevitable that I make some enemies. What with my great success, surly somebody would want to stop me.” The guard begins tying you to the chair with rope from the table. “Somebody hates me enough to send somebody out to kill me. I need to know who this ‘somebody’ is. So, why don’t you and Demetri have a little conversation here?” As he leaves the door, he adds, “Play nice.”

The guard grabs your chin and raises it up to meet his gaze. “Vladimir Volkov,” he says to you. “So, who are you, really?”

You notice that the knot he tied to keep your hands together was tied loosely and you could wiggle your hands around a bit in them. Given enough time, you could probably untie the ropes that keep you bound to the chair.

“I’m waiting,” he says.
