You go around saying your goodbyes; it takes alot longer than expected due to clingy people who keep sobbing about you having to leave your home... Your dress choice seems to make them think you like to hear them worrying, and some even go as far as hugging you - to comfort themselves. *sigh*. They also give you alot of gifts which you happily collect. You love gifts even if you wouldn't admit it for the life of you.
You receive:
_Some beautiful jewelry (although you never really wear jewelry - your ears aren't even pierced.)
_a finely-crafted dagger. More of a piece of art rather than a weapon.
_Black combat gloves and arm guards, along with a set of shin-protectors and combat boots. A gift that makes alot of people gasp, but those who know you just heave a little sigh. You love it, its the most useful gift yet! You pack it away with your armor.
_661 gold 214 silver 930 copper. (Looking as cute as you do, even the people who know it's just an act want to help you out.)
You feel worn out by the time you finally make it to your carriage and meet your escort party.
There's 20 guards, 30 servants and 10 maids, a uselessly large entourage as usual.
You recognize the guards as some of your favorite sparring partners. Your dad must have hand-picked them. You make a mental note to give him a big thanks before leaving.
You were never that close to the servants, but most of them are cute-looking boys (the type you love to tease). And a few equally cute maids.
You also recognize one of the older maids... Betty. She's been around since you were a 'wee little baby' and has been going on your nerves for about equally long. Your father must have sent her along to make sure you behave... probably a wise move, if extremely annoying.
You greet the captain of the guards as he approaches you, he's a large, burly middle aged man with a large scar across his face. Most girls are scared of him, but you know how to appreciate the company of a veteran warrior such as him.
"Ah you've finally arrived lass." He speaks to you without any of the formality people normally treat a member of the royal family with. Another reason you like him.
"I see you're really in the mood huh? I pity your poor victim already" he says in a mock-sympathetic voice.
"Hmm, aren't you just jealous that he gets such a delicate flower all for himself, Duran?" you say mockingly. He rolls his eyes. "So, we all set to go? I can't wait to meet the evil guy that bought me." you say this in a happy-voice to lighten the mood. Of course it's hardly far from the truth.
"Alright then lass, I'll drag your sold ass there meself," he plays along while snickering.
"So since you're escorting me there you should finally be able to tell me who I'm going to be marrying, no?"
"Sure lass, we'll be taking you to... :"
