"Search in there," you tell her, pointing to the red hut.
Without a word, she turns and walks into the dwelling with the red drape. A minute passes. Then another. You begin to wonder if something has gone wrong when she finally emerges.
She takes three steps toward you before collapsing onto the dirt.
You see a nasty red welt forming on her hand. A moment later, she disappears, and is gone. You stand alone once more in the silent village.
