You cast about you, wondering what sneaky thief could have been so fleet of foot and finger to steal from your bag without you being aware of their presence. And that's when you realise there's no wind out here on the prairie, but the grass is moving all the same... wrapping like grasping tentacles around your bag, belt and boots and trying to pull them clear away.
It is Pilfer Grass, which bends towards and wraps itself around whatever it can find. Unless you are careful, it will strip your backpack bare.
