Lily dropped her rucksack to the ground and backed away and as she did the 2 sand goblins began to rifle through her stuff giving her an opening to flee right past them and she got away, in fact the two goblins seemed indifferent to her once they had noticed she had nothing else on her person. "Damn it! That was carrying everything, my spare clothes, my rations, hell even most of my cash." She bit her lip but counted her lucky stars they didn't take her life.
She ran for quite a while every moment praying she would make it to town, until eventually night began to fall over the small desert. She looked around remembering a warning she had heard before she set off on this quest from different people she had encountered. "Be careful, the desert takes at least 3 days to traverse. Also avoid moving at night, there is a very dangerous creature that frequents the sands at night." She decided that it might be best to stop for now.
She took a seat a took a few deep breaths before her belly started to rumble. "Damn, I haven't got any food." She moaned.
