LCM/Stop and tell her you don't remember anything

From Create Your Own Story

You probably should say something, and soon. You try to think but you can't remember her name. As she leans in to kiss you, you back up.

"Listen, Mrs. Thinvel. I am really sorry but I really have no clue what you are talking about," you say as you put your hand out. "I think you are very pretty. but... I have never been with a woman before and I am pretty sure Mr. Thinvel will be really upset with me. I am already going to be late."

She stands up straight and her once cheery and warm face goes cold. She takes a slow sip of coffee and looks at you for what seems like forever.

"I appreciate you being honest with me but this is shitty news to hear in the morning." She takes another sip of coffee. "Especially after a night like the one we just had."

You are unsure what to do. You stand there holding your clothes as you eye her warily.

"Fine, you may leave. I will even call Kevin for you. Under one condition." She pauses again as she slowly sips her coffee. This time making a good show of it. "You are going to go out with me on a date. You can say whatever you want to whoever you want. However, we both will know it's a date and you will have to at least try to like it. I will fill you in on all what went on last night and explain everything. You have to make sure you are listening. I am very mad and disappointed in you. You seemed like someone I could trust. I guess you didn't try to lie to me, that at least is admirable. Get dressed, go to work, be young. Is that a deal?"

You shake your head yes.

"Shit, don't just nod. Talk, tell me what you just promised me so I know you are listening this time?"

"Yes, Mrs Thin..." At those words her face get a sharp, steely look to it.

"Sheryl, the name is Sheryl. Never call me Mrs. Thinvel every again, you hear me? Yes or no? Quick, I don't have time for this."

You have to get to work you think. "Yes, erm, Sheryl. I will go out with you for dinner to explain all this to me."

"Good, now get dressed and go to work."

You start to put on your underwear.

"No, not in here. Outside. only friends are allowed in my house."

You are shocked by the anger and resolve in that voice, but you wonder, she can't really expect you to change outside can she.
