Kiss LaTisha good-bye and prepare for your day

"That does sound appealing," you tell LaTisha. "But I don't want to make a decision like that on the spot. Give me a few days to think it over."
LaTisha smiles. "That's understandable. It would be a significant change."
You kiss her deeply, and rise from the bed. "I guess I'd better rest and prepare for tonight's clients."
Not much of note happens during the next week, as you think about LaTisha's offer. It really would be nice to have some stability...
You decide to speak to Captain Anderson about it, get his advice. When you ask for a half-hour of his time, he seems surprised. "You're not under arrest, sweetie."
"I know," you tell the captain. You explain the situation.
"I certainly have no objection," he grins. "But if you're going to move in with a cop and go legit, I happen to be unattached."
