They collapse under your weight! The entire floor caves in and you plop down into some kind of shallow pool!
"Ah! Oh, just water. Great, GREAT! How am I going to get back up!?" you bellow up at the very dim square of light that you perceive is at least a distance of nine or ten feet above you.
"Maybe I can stack something up here and..." You start to scan the light around the perimeter of the pool of water. It's not a very big pool- a puddle really- but you are soaked and cold and in shock because this was not the drunken evening you envisioned. "Nothing..." You have no choice but to get up and move forward... It's a big room and you have no idea where a wall may be... this might even be a cave or something or some bottomless pit!
