Head straight forward

You continue on the road into Times Square. The tight traffic limits the cops severly, but you have no such limitations. You slip in and out of traffic, almost crashing into three cars. The cop car is far behind now. When you see it dissapear behind a truck, you take to the right, just missing a couple of pedestrians, and into a street. Then you turn back towards Little Italy.
"Where is this place of yours?" you ask the man on your right. He seemes really tired from the wound. "It's on..." he groans. "Turn left here." You turn left, and after a few more turns you are at an apartment complex close to the water. He gets out of the car and walks in, he gestures for you to follow him. You do so. You get up to the third floor, where his apartment is. He unlocks the door and you walk in.
"Get me the bandage in the cupboard." he says and sits down in an old armchair. You do so and help him apply it. After a few seconds he is much more spirited. "You did good today. Very good. I might have some more work for you, if you're interested."
"Right now I just want my money." You say, and he nods. He pulls out 1000 dollars and hands it over. "So are you interested?" he asks.
