"Goodnight Daddy."
Daddy frowns at you. You can tell he wanted to spend time with you without Mommy around. But when he gives you a big hug, it's just that, a hug and nothing more. He doesn't touch you or anything. You like when Daddy gives you good hugs, and you'd have stayed up if you knew it would be good hugs.
But Daddy says, "You're right, Hailey, it's time for bed. I'll be up in a bit to tuck you in."
So you head up to your bedroom smiling because Daddy is being nice again.
You put on your nightgown, take the stuffed animals off your bed and climb in. You drift off quickly before Daddy has even had a chance to tuck you in.
Suddenly you wake up. Daddy is sitting on your bed, the covers have been pulled down. He is looking at your youthful body.
