You open the door keeping the knife behind your back tacked on your belt. You ask the cops why they are here. They answer that they are responding to a call concerning originating from this house and ask you if they can speak with an adult. They seem wary of you and clearly have been told more than they let on.
You let them enter the house saying that you are alone. One of them keeps constant watch on you while the other moves further into the house. In a few seconds he will have reached the kitchen door.
