Go for a drive to the beach
From Create Your Own Story
The swim shorts and towel barely fit in your backpack—you shove them in anyway and step outside. The car door creaks as you slide in, turning the key with one hand while cranking up the stereo with the other. Your favorite playlist blasts through the speakers as you reverse out of the driveway. The sky is that kind of blue that feels infinite, the sun already baking the pavement. Perfect beach weather.
Wind whips through the open windows as you sing along, the bass vibrating the steering wheel. Then—the fork in the road. Left: the direct route, guaranteed gridlock with every other beachgoer crawling toward the shore. Right: a scenic detour, cliffs curling above the ocean, salt spray hitting the guardrails. An extra fifteen minutes, but worth it for the view.
Unless everyone else had the same idea.
The turn comes up fast. You grip the wheel, hesitating. Left or right? Crowds or a gamble? The tires hum against the asphalt as you make your choice.
Do you go to the left or go to the right
