You gather your strength and try again. The apple seems to move a little bit, but it still doesn't pop free of the girl's mouth.
"Oh, good," comes a voice from behind you. You turn your head. A willowy brunette is watching. "I'm Becca Rice," she says. "That's my cousin you're trying to help. Can you get that apple loose?"
"I'll do my best," you reply.
Becca smiles, but her voice has a hard edge. "Losers always whine about `their best.'"
You remember the quote from The Rock -- Sean Connery bucking up Nicolas Cage. "Winners go home and fuck the prom queen." You summon a burst of strength and do the Heimlich a third time, with great force. The apple pops free.
"Thank you!" the apple girl gasps. She gives you a quick kiss on the cheek and runs off. Becca locks eyes with you.
"Does that make me a winner?" you say with a grin.
"I'm not the prom queen," Becca giggles. "But if you want me... I do owe you one."
Do you:
- Ask Becca to take you to her place
- Tell Becca to return with you to your apartment
- Take Becca's hand and look for a private spot on the carnival grounds
