You step back to the fallen man. He's splashing about in the puddle as he tries to get back to his feet. You aren't risking this. No chances. You lean in and stab the man right through the chest, deep into the heart. You pull the knife out quickly, then stab him again. Then again. When he stops moving you give him one more, before pulling the knife free and turning to the woman.
Risen to one knee, she's saying something, but you can't make it out over the pouring rain. You run three steps in her direction and jump, then drive your foot into the center of her chest. She goes down like a ton of bricks.
You step over her, turn the knife around so you can plunge it deep, and drive it down into her chest. Then again. And once more for good measure, until she stops moving to.
"Fuck!" you exclaim, as you get back to your feet and look around. "Get to the car Claire! Now!" You watch as Claire turns and runs in the direction of the Sedan, then you survey the streets with your flashlight looking for more.
Unfortunately, you can see several silhouettes in the distance, and they seem to have noticed you.
