John makes the coffee and sits down to enjoy a cup once it is ready. He positions himself so he can see the person leave his daughter's room when they are done. It does not take long for his son to exit her room and go into his own room. He hears his son's door close and John finishes his cup. The idea of his son and daughter doing anything sexual creates a strange combination of anger and excitement.
He is at a crossroads and does not know who to confront. He wants to march into his daughter's room and let her know what he heard, but he also knows that he should let his son know it is wrong for him to do anything like that.
