Enter the large mysterious tomb

Drawing your sword from underneath your coat, you reach for the door to the tomb. It is unlocked and opens with a creak. You peek inside. No one seems to be there.
Cautiously, you step inside, drawing your shotgun in your other hand, knowing you have the wrist strength to fire it one-handed. The inside is fully marbled, with various coffins inserted into the walls. All is quiet.
Suddenly, the door slams shut behind you. You whirl around. Dropping your weapons, you try to open the door, but it is locked from the inside. And even a shotgun blast won't get through the heavy marble.
In the darkness, you turn on the light on your gun, looking around. At least no monsters have appeared. The tomb is still quiet. But was the door merely blown shut by the wind...or did someone lock you in? And how are you going to get out of here?
You sheathe your sword, keeping your shotgun in your left hand, and begin investigating the walls. It is not long before you find it. A secret panel on the rear wall, when pushed, opens up a hole in the floor. There is a path leading downward into darkness.
Having no other choice, you enter the passage. Although at first the only source of light is coming from you, eventually you come to a section of the tunnel with lit torches on the walls. You continue following the passage until it forks.
You look around cautiously. To the left, the passage appears to become an old stone sewer, running back in the direction of town. And to the right, the passage looks much more modern, as if it was recently excavated.
