Thinking about it, it is a violation of your privacy. Even if you did deliberately show your crotch to your mother, taking a picture of you crosses the line. Your mother is a responsible adult, after all, and should know better. Who knows if she peeked at you at home? Even took pictures there? You tell Julianne that you feel uncomfortable sharing a room with her, and even more so because you will both have to sleep half naked in the same bed due to your luggage missing. Julianne listens to what you have to say, and she finally does the only thing you can do: she wakes the Will and makes him switch rooms with you.
