You awakened by a noise in the middle of the night. It sounds like a door shutting. You look around everyone's beds to see Jessica is missing. Given how much she's talked about escaping, she's probably picked this night. If you are caught escaping, you'll surely be punished. You also suspect Jessica might be trying to trick you into getting caned.
