From Create Your Own Story

The group makes it's way out in the busy streets of Waterdeep and head towards the higher part of town. There, the streets are far less crowded then at the marketplace. The group finds the adress given by the priest in front of a very simple two store building that looks like a bunk house. The glasses on the first floor has been renovated. From what they have gathered, this is the shrine of Aaluuran in Waterdeep. Not a major god, Aaluuran is a god of love and union. Worshipped mostly in brothel, he also oversee wedding ceremony or hide secret lovers.

The group heads into the shrine. A large mess hall section has been renovated. Inside is much prettier then what it first appears. Several cabins to the are dispersed to the side. They are assaulted by the view of the priest and priestess of Aaluuran. Most of them are beautiful and wears very simple white robes. Farrin grabs Sandrine so she dosn't twist her neck looking at the few good looking boys around. They also spots a few commoners stepping inside and being taken care by the priestess. Most of them are Led to the door at the end of the hall where Anders guess is the stairs to the 2nd floor.

He finds the cleric that met him at the inn, a dashing young man with blond-brown hair named Kaled.

Kaled : Ah Anders my friend. You have come.

Anders : Yes well, your proposal was intriguing.

Kaled : And these are your companions ? It is a pleasure to finaly meet you.

Anders proceed to the presentation. Kaled had already examined them closely. Each one have a feature that Kaled found beautiful, which is why he proposed to Anders the deal.

Kaled : Have you come to accept my offer ?

Anders : I'd like to know more about it before I accept.

Kaled : Of course. It is not a very complicated one though. The shrine of Aaluuran provides relief to many. It is with his grace and benediction that we bask here in pleasure.

Sandrine : So... it's a whore house ?

Anders : Sandrine...

Sandrine : what ?!

Kaled : haha. Do not worry my friend. We are used to be mistaken for this. While it is true, some people come here seeking the pleasure of the flesh. It is the main method of worship in these hall. And while I would like to argue our place is more sacred then that, yes miss Sandrine. Our service here trades money for carnal desire.

Sandrine : So how's it different ?

Kaled : Our priests here does not focus on the monetary value of such unions. Here, pleasure is freely given and recieved. Money is simple a passing wind, a necessary donation to feed and groom our people.

Sandrine : I hear your fees are pretty high.

Kaled : Correct.

Sandrine : So how come they still come here ? ther's alot of cheaper brothel.

Jevan : ... how would you know that.

Sandrine : oh hum... I just heard about it is all...

Kaled : haha. We are not in competition with them. If you would call them "client", ours come here willingly. They do not care for the money invested. They apreciate the ambiance and the care and recieve not just pleasure but love. I have aproached you because I see in each of you qualities that our followers adores. But I wish to specify that if you accept, each of you who will take part of will do so willingly. I do not wish to make you work against your wish, even though I know money is the issue.

Anders take a look at the other. They've already talked about it and all of them accepted, even Milora.

Anders : I think their all aware. Not to mention I told him they wouldn't have to if they didn't want.

Kaled : Excelent ! Now then since you are not directly part of our flock, let me elaborate exactly on the terms of my offer. When you will wish to help with sharing Aaluuran's blessing, simply come and see me. I will then see about what you can do for that day. Know that your work will most likely involve the pleasure of the flesh with someone you might not know of. Upon your task, I will prepare an appropriate rewards for your group upon the task completed.

Milora blushes as well as Farrin. But everyone nods.

Kaled : Very good.

Anders : We have another errand to do but we might come back tomorow.

Kaled : Very well. Pass by tomorow.

The group nods and heads out under the gaze of the priestess. Even jevan blushes a little. It's hard to explain how much these woman are making them feel Wanted. The rare few boys have been sending interested glares at the three woman as well. They finaly get out of the shrine.

Anders : We still got the adventuring guild to go check out, so let's do that before tonigh.

The party agrees and heads back into the busy streets to cross the market.

The group heads out into the busy streets of waterdeep again, this time moving closer to the docks. They cross the marketplace and come in sight of the adventuring guild's building. Located on a street with view of the docks, this two store building is boasting great and solid architecture. They climb the small flight of stair leading to the door and steps in. Inside is a large hall with several chairs and tables as well as trophy and maps of the world. The room is filled with various effect taken from different countries, esoteric books and map as well as trophies from past adventures like weapons or stuffed beasts. It's pretty much empty at this hour though. While the others spread out to sate their curiosity, Anders and Sandrine heads directly through the hall and reach the more business-side of the floor. A small counter cuts the halls. A large billboard is facing the wall opposite to it and a flight of stars leads up to the second level. Behind the counter, Anders can see several racks that are used to store and archive notes and letters. A young woman with long auburn hair and hazelnut eyes comes out from the maze of racks as she hears someone aproach.

Fina : Hello! Welcome to the adventurer's guild. Can I help you ?

Anders : Yes. My name is Anders. Me and my companions here are looking for work and we were wondering how it works here.

Fina : Oh nice to meet you Anders. I'm Fina.

She holds out her hand and he shakes it firmly. She is obviously used to dealing with adventurer's.

Fina : It's pretty simple to work here but you need to be an aproved adventurer before you are allowed to take jobs here.

Anders : Approved ?

Fina : Yes. A guild agent must confirm that you are thrustworthy enough to join.

Anders : I see... I didn't know that. Are there any in the city ?

Fina : Not right now... There is one that is due to return from mission in about a week though.

Anders ponders. A week is pretty long... they'l have time to run out of money before then. The rogue next to him quickly picks up on his trail of thought.

Sandrine : looks like the howling wolves will have to find another avenue of income huh chief ?

Anders : Yeah.

Fina : the howling wolves ?!... You are the howling wolves ?! the heroes of daggerpoint village ?

Anders : Yeah.

Daggerpoint village was one of the town they had to make a stop at while they were heading to Waterdeep from Baldur gate. They arrived at the worst possible time, the village being raided by a conjoined effort of both orcs and bandits. With their intervention, they managed to save alot of the village and made a pretty big dent into the monster's rank.

Fina : Oh well this changes everything !

Anders : It does ?

Fina : Yes ! The guild agents makes it a duty to make themself of aware of what happens. They often leaves notes on oncoming adventuring party in advance.

She goes down the racks of letter, sifting through the many compartement in search of something specific.

Sandrine leans over the counter and eyes Fina's backside while she's bent over.

Sandrine : hrm. hrm... she's cute isn't she ?

Anders shakse his head. He knows the rogue swing both side. He's glad the guild's clerk didn't hear that.

The "cute" clerk comes back with a long paper that seems like a list.

Sandrine : What is that ?

Fina : A list. The guild agents keep it up to date, keeping track of prospective group that might be good additions to the guild. With this I won't need their approval and I'd be really surprise if you weren't on there.

She takse a few moment to review the list.

Fina : Yes. here it is. Well with this I can approve myself of you joining the guild if you still wish to!

Anders : Please do.

Fina : Allright.

She pulls out some paperwork and have Anders fills them before give him a clothpin with the guild insignia.

Fina : There you go. I can now let you take jobs that we recieve here. Know that the guild recieves demands and we take a portion of the payment for the information relay. It's not alot, just helps pays for the guild services. Call it your membership fees. Beyond that, it's not strange for the guild to offer personal bonuses when the guild agents feels the pay for a certain job is not enough. All jobs currently in need of adventurers are usualy posted on the billboard over there.

Anders : Sounds good. It's a little late to pick up something but we'l check by tomorow.

Fina : Allright. I hope to see you soon.

She smiles charmingly.

Sandrine nudge his side when they get back to the other. Anders explain them that they are now guild members. Now then, they should get some rest.
