D&D: MHC: "I want to see the thief"

From Create Your Own Story

"Right this way" the warden says while grabbing his keyring. He brings you down the prisons halls, reaching one of the door identical to the others. You take a glances in the barred window. The thief is held standing with her hand above her head by a ceiling chain. The mechanism attached to one of the walls to either raises or lower the chains. She's wearing ragged brown clothes that barely cover her body... to the point where you can clearly see her underwear, an unremarkeable pair of bra and panties made from black linen.

"Has she been fed?" you ask

"every day and drink as well. You know I take care of our Bane's prisoners."

You smile and nods. Bane is known to be an evil overlord but he dosn't let his prisoners rot. True believers understand that those who suffer, do so calculated on their actual sins. While this woman offended the lord by stealing, which is a grave offense, she will get her just punishement, and will not needlessly suffer for no apparent reason. That would be chaotic and against the teaching of the great Overlord. It seems today, she will get her just punishement.

The warden reads the mood and look at you: "Will you need the tools ?"

"Hrm." you ponder a moment. There are two ways to succesfully conduct an interogation. The first most common is aggressive. Asking out questions and dishing out pain upon resistance, rewarding the victims with peace when it cooperates. It is the way of the cruel and is rather common amongst the faithful of bane. The most well known at least.

The second one is the passive way. One you've come to be pretty experienced in and that is far more rewarding and effective in your regards. Especialy concerning victim of the other gender.

Which way will you use ?
