Cook Irina a nice meal

You've had to live on your own cooking since you moved here. While you're not Bobby Flay, you've made yourself into a pretty decent cook.

You tell Irina to sit on the sofa and relax while you prepare a meal. She insists on helping, so you have her make a salad while you do the bulk of the cooking.

Irina woks as a secretary in the New York office of a multinational firm headquartered in Moscow. Her language skills come in handy when dealing with foreign clients. She tells you that she's been in the US for 15 years and officially became a citizen 12 years ago. Tanya, her niece, is an FSS (the agency that was the KGB back when Russia was still the Soviet Union) investigator, who has been trying to track down Iosif Kulinsky. She took over the case 5 years ago from the agent who had been unsuccessfully hunting for Mr. Kulinsky ever since he vanished.

"If this guy's a Russian gangster," you say as you set the table and put the food out, "he was probably, um, retired by a rival gang and his body put somewhere it would never be found. If it wasn't incinerated or something."

"A possibility," Irina concedes. "It would explain why he seemingly dropped off the face of the earth."

After a nice dinner -- Irina compliments your cooking -- she helps you put the dishes in the sink. Then she beckons you over and speaks in a low tone.

"I'm no longer viewed as a good catch by the young men," she informs you. "We older women have needs, too."
