"Hey, get up." Kenny said lazily as he tapped Lee's foot with his. Clementine's eyes flickered open and she let out a smile, after what she and Lee did, she had the most restful night of her life. She felt a little sore but it was fine, she had definitely felt worse before.
She slowly got up and brushed off her back and arms of hay, "God i'm so itchy."
"Well you slept in a barn missy, lucky you don't have spiders in your hair." Kenny said with a smirk. Clementine let out a little giggle, she forget how Kenny used to be easy going and full of jokes, "But i'm sure your dad here, scared them all away."
"He's not my dad, he's a family friend looking out for me." Clem said easily as she peered over to Lee who looked back at her with a slight raise in his brow,
Kenny let out a nod looking between the two of them before turning around, "C'mon, Shawn's putting us to work today." He said as they followed him out of the barn, "Names Kenny. Over there is my wife Katjaa and my son Ken Jr. though we just call him Duck." Kenny said with a smirk,
Clem's eyes went soft as she saw them, it had been too long since she even thought of them but none the less she was overjoyed. "Dodging or quacking?" Lee asked jokingly,
"Quacking." Kenny replied with a chuckle causing Duck to whine out embarrassed,
Shawn walked over as they all grouped up, "Alright well today I'm working on the fortifying the fence. Kenny I know you're working on your truck but Lee, Clem, hope you'd be willing to lend me a hand."
"Can I help?!" Duck asked with a wide smile,
"Sure you can be my foreman. You can sit on the tractor and yell at me whenever I take a water break." Shawn replied with a smirk,
"A tractor? Cool!" Duck exclaimed as he followed Shawn around to the other side of the house.
Clem quickly slipped away from the others, she remembered exactly what was going to happen now. Duck didn't mean to hurt Shawn originally but it happened. She thought for a moment and then looked around until she found a piece of firewood. She smiled before running over and picking it up, she quickly moved back to the tractor and put it under the back wheel stopping it from moving forward and pinning Shawn later. Feeling certain that Shawn should be safe she smiled and returned to the others who had separated. She peered around and saw Kenny working on his truck, Lee heading into the barn and Shawn starting to work.
