It takes a while but soon you see a door opening at the opposite side of the room and Carla standing in the doorway. She is wearing a tight fitting, black evening dress.
“Well, look who’s awake.” Carla strides across the room and bends down in front of the cage, peering down at you with a bright smile. “Did you have a good nap, sweetie?”
She doesn’t wait for you to answer before continuing.
“You looked too cute to wake up so I just carried you here while you were still asleep. Do you like your cage? It’s not too big for you right?” she laughs at her own joke. “It’s the one I usually keep Bert in when he is being disobedient but I think it should serve as a good enough cot before we get you your own.”
