Your courageous move stuns him, it seems he wasn't expecting it.
"Well well Althea, I guess I still can't trust you," he says, laughing but with no humor behind it. "I'm sorry."
He turns away from you and starts to walk over to a solider by the door.
"They're all going to the Desolation," he says to the guard.
You feel everyone in the room stiffen, and suddenly you become rigid. The Desolation. The word gives you a headache, and chills run down your spine. Whatever the Desolation is, it can't be good.
"Are you sure?" The soldier asks.
"I don't care what the other people said, they are all liars, like her," the boy spat.
Before you can react, before you can ask what the Desolation is, what his name is, you're knocked unconscious.
