You don't feel like giving up your freedom to this small-town dictator. So you say, "Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll pass."
Rhona's face is expressionless as she listens to your reply. She then turns to Annabelle. "How about you?"
"You know what? I think I'll join you," says Annabelle. You look over in surprise, not expecting that.
"Good," says Rhona. "Now you just need to pass a little test." She points at you as she addresses Annabelle. "Kill her."
"WHAT?!" you scream.
Rhona smiles nastily. "When I make people an offer, it's one of those 'offers you can't refuse' kind of offers."
You stare at her, then look over at Annabelle, expecting her to defiantly die a martyr alongside you. But Annabelle is raising her axe.
"Ana, what the fuck?" you shout.
Annabelle shrugs. "When the choice is live or die, I prefer living."
You feel your body shaking.
