Agreeing with Melanie, you peel off towards the local supermarket, swinging around abandoned automobiles and dodging bodies that litter the street like gutter trash.
You finally pull into the lot, which although completely dark, your headlights show you is filled with empty cars and trucks. The front door of the place is wide open, and boxes and bottles litter the entryway. Others have had the same idea, and as lightning flashes, you see a few bodies along the sidewalk by the entrance.
"I don't know," Melanie says quietly. "Maybe this isn't such a great idea."
