You remember the advice your father always drilled into your head as a kid; "If you're ever stranded on an island or in the middle of nowhere, you search for water. That's your priority, cause otherwise you're dead."

Well, Dad's not here, but you have his wisdom to follow.

You look around and find yourself surrounded by the tallest trees you've ever seen, the grass underfoot rising up to your knees along with ferns and other exotic plants. Listening carefully, you can hear running water to the east. But there is another noise as well, like rustling and stamping of some rather large animals. Exactly what else is over there, and do you care to find out first hand? You could always try searching elsewhere.
