You blink as your brain slowly process the information just given to you. Oshuu Castle…? He nods in confirmation at your confusion.
“I just need to deliver it to our lord or Lord Kojuurou,” he says simply.
Your heart quickens and you take the letter in your hand. “I’ll do it. It’s no problem!” You chirp happily, excited to get an excuse to enter the castle. You turn around and head down the dirt trodden path. Your father waves a small farewell and you skip away from his sight.
The street was quite empty compared to the early morning. It was the late afternoon; it seemed that everyone was at home by this time. You glance at the letter in your hand and wonder what the message could possibly be. The orange sun turned the sky into a shocking crimson, a color that was more defined and solid than the colors you saw in your world.
You almost trip on the stairs the way you were staring so intently at the ever-changing heavens. Fully concentrating on climbing the stone path, you look up to see a gate to your right. Since you have never went as so near this place, you had no idea where to go. Take your pick.
